Big Sur is a place I’ve been going to since I was a kid. We normally would take day trips there, leaving home in the late morning, leisurely driving up the coast, getting lunch at the Big Sur Bakery, going for a hike and then heading home while watching the sunset over the ocean. In high school, my boyfriend (now husband) and I would drive up highway 1, finding hidden gems along the way, and in 2018 it’s where he proposed to me. It’s safe to say that Big Sur holds a very special spot in my heart and I’m going to share some of my recommendations and spots I’ve loved through the years!
