Date Tahini Hazelnut Granola
This stovetop granola is basically like having dessert for breakfast
Pair with your favorite yogurt and add a drizzle of honey and fresh seasonal fruit! My personal favorite is sheep yogurt as it’s double the protein that cow’s milk has and can be a bit easier to digest for those with sensitive tummies. Enjoy!
Date Tahini Hazelnut Granola
1/2 cup millet puffs
1/2 cup organic cereal flakes
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup loosely chopped hazelnuts
1/2 TB chia seeds
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 TB date paste
1 TB tahini

Place all dry ingredients into bowl. Heat up oil, tahini, and date paste on low until well incorporated. Pour over dry mixture and mix in well. Place in a med high skillet (I prefer cast iron), and smooth out in pan and let sit for about 2-3 minutes, making sure not to burn, then stir for an additional minute or so until oats turn golden brown. Resist the urge to stir too much so you get those nice scraggy bits! Add in some flaky sea salt to finish!
