Easy Citrus Raspberry Chia Jam
Made from a bag of frozen raspberries, some chia seeds & orange, this "jam" couldn't be easier to make
Easy Citrus Raspberry Chia Jam
Ingredients
12 oz bag of frozen raspberries
Juice of 1 large orange
Zest of 1 large orange
1/2 TB honey
1/4 cup water
1 heaping tablespoon of chia seeds
Directions
In a large saucepan, put frozen raspberries, orange juice, water and orange zest and bring to low simmer. Add in chia seeds and honey, and stir well to incorporate. Smash down raspberries with the back of a spoon for a looser texture. Store in fridge for up to a week in an air tight jar.
For those who are chia seed averse because of the texture, you can blend this jam right before you add to a jar and that chia seed texture will go away entirely! I personally love the crunch that chia seeds add.
