I know this Substack isn’t about travel but it IS about food, and we sure did a lot of eating delicious things. If you are planning a Scotland highland road trip or just are interested, read ahead!

We just got back from our road trip around Scotland. We flew to London and spent a few days there, hopped on the train to Edinburgh, and spent two days exploring the city. From there, we rented a car and went from Luss — Glencoe — Isle of Skye — eventually making our way to Inverness where we flew out to Bristol. From there we rented a car and drove through the Costwolds, eventually making our way back to London for our flight home.

In Edinburgh, my favorite spots were the Educated Flea for a delicious wholesome dinner (vegan friendly, too), Twelve Triangle bakery for the yummiest pastries, and Milkman for great coffee. From Edinburgh, we officially began our road trip and our first stop was a small village called Luss. We stayed at
